"Oh my gosh, this place was such a hidden gem in my old hometown!I have wanted to experience a barndo or tiny house for years, and I was looking for a peaceful home away from home where I could rest, enjoy nature, work on book projects, and reconnect with myself. This was exactly that. From the moment I arrived, it was easy to find, and I was greeted by the sweetest pet family member, Scooby. He jogged up the driveway with his tail wagging, smiling, and ready to play. It was such a beautiful welcome.I also met Lisa, who was so warm, charming, and hospitable. She made me feel comfortable right away. Once I got settled in, the space felt like home. It was cozy, beautiful, quiet, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. The bed was comfortable, and the setup was so cute. It feels like you are hours away from town, but you are not. They also had fresh eggs, biscuits, butter, water, and a sweet welcome note waiting. I did not eat the food, but the thoughtfulness meant a lot. This stay exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through or even someone local who wants a quick getaway from the busyness of life. It is perfect for peaceful rest and quiet renewal.I did not get to experience the fire pit this time, but I plan to come back in the cooler months for the full experience.Thank you so much, Lisa and Richard, for your wonderful hospitality. I truly enjoyed my stay."
